How it works
1. Discovery Call
A relaxed 30-minute conversation about your adventures and how you use the outdoors. No pressure, no hard sell — just an honest chat about whether an Onyx van is right for you.
2. Design Consultation
We dig into the details - your kit, your trips, your must-haves. This is where your van starts to take shape around your life, not the other way around.
3. Your Proposal
We send you a clear, detailed quote with no hidden costs. We will work with you until you're happy with your proposal.
A deposit secures your build slot, with typical completion in 4-6 months.
4. The Build
We discuss colours and finishes and provide you with concept designs so we can get building. We keep you updated throughout, and you're welcome to visit the workshop during the build.
5 Handover
We walk you through everything, make sure you're confident with every system, and send you on your way. We're always at the end of the phone after that.

Chris and Heather helped us to convert our first campervan and they were wonderful to work with; they have a clear passion for vanlife and are really knowledgable, especially with van electrics, services, layout and the details that matter when you are off-grid.
